Journeying with Strategic Partners towards #PhilippinesforSAF
The journey toward Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is deliberate, demanding, and lengthy—yet it offers the single largest reduction in carbon emissions on our path to the UN ICAO Net Zero LTAG 2050 goals.
On any journey, we sink or swim with those we travel with.
Island Skies Alliance is proud to strengthen its journey by formalizing strategic partnerships through recent MoU signings with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and the Board of Investments (BOI).
Together, these partnerships reinforce our shared commitment to advancing SAF and building a resilient, enabling ecosystem for the Philippines:
✈️ CAAP leads the SAF Committee under the National Biofuels Board (NBB), standing as the primary signatory for the country’s CORSIA commitment.
📈 BOI champions the commercial potential of a Philippine SAF production industry—prioritizing it under Tier II (Green Ecosystems, Industrial Value-Chain Gaps & Security) of the Strategic Investment Priority Plan (SIPP).
By bringing together government leadership, industry pioneers, and key stakeholders, we are aligned to:
Promote policies and incentives that accelerate SAF development and adoption.
Foster investment, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across the aviation value chain.
Strengthen public-private collaboration in pursuit of the country’s long-term decarbonization goals.
Together with CAAP, BOI, and the NBB SAF Committee, we are ready to harness the country’s rich potential to become a regional hub for SAF.
